How to get to Sesame Place? Our favorite kiddy band Ralph's World was at Sesame Place this past weekend. Being the groupies that we are, we ignored the bad weather and cranky kids determined to have a fun day. The rain held off; it was cool and cloudy for most of the day but the crankiness continued through rides, concerts & characters. We have such fond memories of Disney World we assumed this would be an easy fun treat. We didn't get off to a great start when Eddie got stung by a bee on his first ride (a really big slide). M&Ms solved the bee sting but no bribes could get Alex close to Elmo, Bert, Ernie or any of the characters. In fact we almost lost Alex as he sprinted out of the character building screaming from Big Bird. Eddie was "too cool" to hug the characters which means no cute pictures for Mom & Dad. It was a real shame since there were no lines & we had the opportunity to meet most of the characters. The boys seemed to have fun on the rides and Alex was able to go on a few with Mom. We went to the 11am and 1pm Ralph's World Concert. Alex tried dancing but hesitated since apparently Eddie was "too cool" to dance. The day ended on a positive, Eddie LOVED the roller coaster and had fun watching the parade while a very tired Alex took a nap. Click for the pictures of the day.
