Mom's softball season ended tonight. They lost the championship series 2 games to none. For a team that won its first game in ten years this season, making the finals was the icing on the cake. If you can believe it, we had over a hundred fans (friends, neighbors, former teammates & even opposing teams) cheering us on the last two nights. Kari hasn't played for a crowd like that since high school! According to Josh, Kari is the best lefty third baseman in the league and came into the playoffs as the (unexpected) starting pitcher. She won two games and lost one game on the mound. Thanks to Grandpa for making the trip up for the finals!! The boys are going to miss running the bases and bathing in dirt each night after the games.
